House Rules
Thank you very much for your stay at our resort. Our team will make every effort to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We cannot do this without your cooperation. Therefore, we would like to draw your attention to the following house rules.
Visitors
Visitors are welcome and must report to the front desk upon arrival. If visitors wish to stay overnight, they must report to the reception. They will be registered as travel companions and the tourist tax will have to be paid for them. The reception reserves the right to refuse guests. Visitors must comply with the rules set out in these rules.
Resort facilities
Use of resort facilities and equipment /activities is at your own risk.
The accommodation and waste
Each accommodation has its own personal furnishings. It is not allowed to take outside furniture that belongs in the holiday accommodation. (Garden) furniture and inventory may not be moved or relocated to other accommodation.
Guests are required to keep the accommodation and its surroundings in a neat and orderly condition. No rubbish may be left in, around or on the accommodation. Waste must be sorted and deposited in the appropriate waste containers. Placing rubbish bags (and loose waste) is not allowed under any circumstances in connection with hygiene and attracting insects or animal.
Drones
The use of drones is not permitted.
Pets
Pets are allowed on site and in designated accommodations. Dogs must be leashed at all times, except inside holiday accommodation, and must not cause a nuisance to other guests at the resort. Dogs must be walked outside the resort. In the event of an "accident", the owner of the dog must take care of the disposal of this pollution himself. Pets are not allowed in public places, swimming pools, catering establishments, supermarkets, etc.
(Night) tranquillity and nuisances
Guests of the resort must behave properly in general and observe silence throughout the premises between 11 pm and 7 am We expect our guests to strictly respect this night's rest. This implies the absence of music, loud conversations, or any other outside noise after 11 pm Likewise, during the day, it is forbidden to use musical media, musical instruments and other objects that may cause noise pollution. In the event of a complaint from another host, the nuisance is established and a fee may be charged.
Maintenance
Dormio Resort Berck-sur-Mer reserves the right to carry out (cleaning) work in the accommodations from 8 am. Urgent issues reported to the front desk will be resolved as soon as possible. Dormio Resort Berck-sur-Mer always has the right to enter the rented accommodation to inspect it and/or to carry out (or have carried out) maintenance work. Whenever possible, the staff will notify you in good time of such a visit. In the event of an emergency, Dormio Resort Berck-sur-Mer may refrain from giving prior notice.
Parking & Traffic
Unless otherwise specified, you can only park your car in the parking spaces provided for this purpose in your accommodation. In the event of an emergency, supply and evacuation (from emergency services), paths, access roads and barriers must always remain free of movement. Normal traffic rules apply in the park. By way of derogation, the maximum speed on the resort for all vehicles is 10 km per hour, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Only destination traffic is allowed. Pedestrians and children (playing) always have the right of way. We ask that you give our newly laid grass a chance to grow and not park your car on it. Electric cars can only be charged at charging stations. It is forbidden to charge them on the electricity grid of your holiday home.
Safety
The use of a barbecue on site is allowed as long as it is at least 3 metres away from trees, bushes, fences, buildings and dwellings. A bucket containing about 10 litres of water should also be within easy reach of the barbecue in case of an emergency. The barbecue can only be powered by electricity, charcoal and briquettes.
Dormio Resort Berck-sur-Mer reserves the right to prohibit. the use of a barbecue in special circumstances (e.g. in case of extreme drought). Due to the risk of fire, disposable barbecues can only be placed in the containers provided for this purpose after they have been extinguished and cooled.
General House Rules
The instructions of the station staff must be followed in all cases. Behave in a way that doesn't get in anyone's way. Enjoy your stay and allow other guests to enjoy their holiday. All guests must strictly abide by the rules set forth in the resort's Terms and Conditions, Terms and Conditions, and follow the instructions given by staff and/or any security service present in any form and context. The same applies to the rules for the use of the facilities.
Violation of these conditions and rules as well as failure to comply with the instructions of the staff may result in expulsion from the resort and denial of access without you being entitled to a full or partial refund of the (rental) sums paid or payable, without prejudice to the right of Dormio Resort Berck-sur-Mer is entitled to claim damages for damages caused by the infringement.
Deposits
You may be asked to pay a deposit. The deposit can be paid by PIN or with credit card. The sum will be paid back later, once checks have been made. The deposit is € 300. If you rent 2 or more accommodation units, the deposit will be € 500.
